Since first establishing slices of silence in 2013, my primary goal has been to share some of the amazing photography I encounter through interviews, spotlights, features, essays, and thematic considerations with and by both established and up and coming photographers. While the main focus was originally on black and white long exposure photography, I am always branching outside that box and inviting photographers who work with and through different styles.
Ultimately, slices of silence is a labor of love. I pay for this project out of my own pocket and with my own time. It is completely advertisement and sponsor free and will remain so. It exists purely to offer inspiration to anyone who enjoys photography, be that an interest in creating or viewing images or a blend of the two.
